Drew Richardson’s Column on GOP “shady practices”

Be sure and read Drew Richardson’s column today in the Staunton News Leader, in which he takes a closer look at Monica Goodling’s testimony. Among other questionable practices that came to light in her remarks was the practice of “caging voters”.
"If these claims are true, the real story behind the firing of the U.S. attorneys is not about removing prosecutors disloyal to Bush — it's about replacing those who refused to aid the theft of the vote in 2004 with those prepared to steal it again in 2008."
We need to ensure that our democracy is protected by making the vote available to everyone eligible, not let the Republicans decide who they want to show up at the ballot box. The first step: Gonzales must go!
